Want to offset the design surface when using Komatsu iMC Excavator.

Answer

There are two offset methods: design plane offset and control plane offset.

Explanation

1) Design plane offset

This method offsets the design plane itself in the vertical direction.

It is often used for temporary excavation or spreading work data.

*The design plane itself is moved up and down, so the color of the workpiece displayed on the screen also changes.

2) Control plane offset

This is a method of vertically offsetting the control plane selected as the target plane in the design plane.

This is often used in slope construction.

*Since the control plane is created separately from the design, the color of the workpiece displayed on the screen does not change.

Click on the red square below and enter the distance to be offset when using the semi-auto mode.
