Issue

How to increase the number of reference points to check the accuracy of the cutting edge of Komatsu iMC excavators.

Answer/Cause

When there are multiple reference piles for checking the cutting edge in the field, you can change the coordinate with only select button not need to input it in the cutting edge confirmation screen if you have registered points in advance.
This prevents coordinate input errors, etc.

Explanation/How to deal

• If the selection button can be pressed, only the point can be registered because the layer has already been registered.
• If the selection button cannot be pressed, there is no layer for registering reference piles, so it is necessary to register a layer first.

*Caution
Refer the image below: The selection button is grayed out when it is not possible to press the select button.

How to register a new layer

• Select the menu.　
• Select "Project File Settings.”　　
• Select "Layers."　　
• Click the "New" button.
• Input a layer name and click OK.　　
• Click the Back button.

How to register a new point

• Touch Menu button.
• Select "Project File Setting" and tap "Points."
• Click "New" button.
• Input a detail name and click OK.
• Click the ▽ button on the right side of the layer.　
• The layer name created in "How to register a new layer" will be displayed so select it.
• Enter the N/E/Height numbers.　
• Click the ✓ button twice to finish the setting.

How to set the point after new registration

• Select the XYZ (Check Edge) button from the construction screen.
• Click the "Select button" on the "Comp.BM" screen.
• Select a point for the newly created reference point and click ✓ button.

*Caution
If layers are registered on this screen, additional points can be newly registered.
The name (number) of the newly registered point will increase by 2 or 3 each time a new point is registered, even if you do not touch it.
