How to create simple flat plane surface data.

Answer

You can create flat plane surface data by following the procedure below.

• Tap "Menu" and select "Project File Settings".

　

• Tap "Surfaces," then touch "New" and enter a name.

     

• Select "Flat plane surface" and touch "Next."

*If you have not entered a design data name, you will not be able to select the "Next" button.

*Please make sure that there is no design data file with the same name before tapping the "Next" button. If you create a file with the same name, it will be overwritten by the data created this time.

• Move the cutting edge of the bucket to the height where you want to create a plane, and then tap "Measure pt...".

　*If you want to specify an arbitrary coordinate point, you can input it manually.

• When the cutting edge position (N, E, height) is entered automatically, tap "Finish".
