Monitor of Komatsu iMC excavator freezes or slows down

Answer

1)It takes time to load data due to the large data volume of design data or detailed TIN data.
2)Older monitor version　　
3)The monitor has deteriorated over time.

Explanation

1)Dividing the range of design data or increasing the width of the TIN may speed up the loading time.

A large number of TINs densely packed within a 1-meter range can cause freezes and delays.
Considering that the bucket width is about 1 m, there are too many TINs per stroke, so it is too much information to process.

Also, as can be easily seen by checking with 3D-Office, if the outer perimeter line (red line below), which should be on the outer frame only, is also on the inner frame, this can cause freezing and delays in operation.

2)Please contact your local Komatsu distributor to upgrade the monitor version.

How to ensure the version information.

In some cases, the symptom may be improved by performing a disk cleanup, but if 1) to 3) are the causes, it is only a temporary measure and the issue will occur again.
